We recently encountered a young woman named K in a strip club dressing room.
We’d just finished praying over a pregnant dancer we’ve been pouring into the last few months, and her 4th baby boy due in December.
As we turned to leave, K approached us, higher than a kite.
She was a sweet, small thing and my heart hurt to hear she just had a baby a month ago.
With slurred speech, K was overwhelmed with appreciation for us and said our visits make a big difference for all the girls there.
She hugged and kissed us, and rambled some things we couldn’t quite catch.
Until…she spoke something clear as day that struck a chord.
You see, that morning before outreach, I received a text from a friend:
"Praying this morning, here is what I heard the Lord say about you. Kelsey Decker, when you go into the places Hell has Designed with Heavens agenda, the Ark is Built.”
We now stood in front of a very high K, who spoke a very prophetic word out of nowhere.
“Noah saved us! He saved us on the Ark. He saved all the WOMEN on the Ark! THE WOMEN have been saved!”
Niki probably thought these words were just super random, until we got back in the car and I shared with the team the text I received that morning!
It was an incredible moment of silence as we sat in AWE of God.
This encounter has been with me ever since, and I’ve shared it at events I’ve been speaking at recently, to demonstrate just how supernaturally God shows up on these strip club outreaches.
God’s with us when we’re sober.
God’s with us when we’re high.
He’s with us at church.
And He’s with us in the strip clubs.
He’s moving through the lives of the least of these and is preparing those who are willing to bring in the mighty harvest in the days to come. Hallelujah!!!!
