Friday evening, my team went with our teammate, Niki, to minister to the street workers and their men on Broadway in St. Louis.
We were unsure if anyone would be out since the day before a girl was found naked and dead in the middle of the street. She got into a customer’s car and fifteen minutes later was tossed out with a wound to her head.
The community was shaken, but they were still out Friday night sharing their grief with us.
We ministered in the park for nearly two hours before heading to the strip clubs. One woman gave her life to Christ and another was baptized in the Holy Ghost.
And in God’s perfect timing, Niki had already planned Church in the Park for today, and the people were in high expectation!
Several churches and ministries came together today and fed, clothed, loved on, and ministered to this community riddled with fentanyl. It was so, so special.
More people received salvation and healing, and more received the love of Jesus.
Church isn’t just a building. We must go out into the highways and byways and meet people where they are! We must BE the Church.
Today was powerful and beautiful beyond words. Glory to God Almighty!!!
